网上标本馆介绍
    中药标本馆始建于1956年,经过40多年的不断发展,现已成为我校对外开放交流的窗口,成为集教学、科研、中药标本收集与制作等于一体的多功能综合性机构,在国内外享有较高的声誉。
本馆地处天府之国的四川,得天独厚,为其收集药物标本提供了丰富的药物资源。本馆突出的特点是规模宏大,种类繁多,分类齐全,真伪并列。收存有各类药物标本约3000种,5000多瓶。除常见的中药标本外,还存有一些名贵、罕见标本,如有麝香、牛黄、野山参、燕窝等名贵标本;有海龟、海豹、虎骨等大型生物标本;有特大的牛草结、野生茯苓等罕见标本,还有羚羊角、猴枣、西洋参等进口标本。同时收存的腊叶标本有3000余种,50000多份,隶属于211科,1036属。各科标本按修改后的恩格勒(Engler Diels)系统排列。除常见的药用植物标本外,还有冬虫夏草、人参、三七等名贵中药的原植物标本;有珙桐、水青树、连香树等被称为活化石珍稀濒危植物标本;有苦瘤黄精、升麻等新定种的模式标本,另有模式标本照片18337种。
    我馆标本按实际工作需要分为以下10个标本陈列馆,即动物药标本馆、植物药标本馆、矿物药标本馆、道地药材标本馆、民族药标本馆、保鲜浸泡标本馆、科研标本馆、教学标本馆和腊叶标本馆。
本馆任务繁多,除做好对外接待工作和标本的收集、制作、鉴定、养护以及为相关教学提供教学标本等日常工作外,还承担有《中药商品学》《药用动物学》的教学任务,承担有参加《中药学》《中药鉴定学》的教学实习任务,还承担有药学本专科学生的毕业专题实习任务。
    本馆的研究方向是用现代的科学技术和手段,研究中药贮藏养护对中药质量及临床疗效的影响,研究引起中药变质的主要因素及其因素间的关系,研究各类药物在贮藏中的质量变化的情况,从而探求药物科学贮藏、养护的新技术与新方法,为确定中药的有效期和临床用药的安全、有效提供科学的依据。

Exhibition Center of the Chinese Medicine Specimens

Established in 1956, the center has developed into a window of our university to the outside world for communication and exchanges. It is well known at home and abroad as a comprehensive base not only for large collection of various medicinal specimens, but also for teaching and scientific researches.

Located in Sichuan province, namely “the Land of Heaven on Earth”, it is supplied with abundant medicinal resources and characterized by a large scale, a great variety, a satisfactory category of specimens, and the arrangement for both true and pseudo specimens. There are nearly 3000 species, 5000 bottles of specimens in the center. In addition to the common specimens, there are some precious and rare types, such as Moschus (she xiang), Calculus Bovis (niu huang), wild Ginseng (shan shen), nest of Collocalia Esculenta (yan wo), etc; large specimens, such as green turtle, seal, tiger skeleton, etc; rare specimens, such as a huge stomachic calculus of an oxextra-large wild Poria, etc; imported specimens, such as Cornu Saigae Tataricae (ling yang jiao), Calculus Macacae (hou zao), and Radix Panacis Quinquefolii (xi yang shen), etc. It houses more than 3000 species, 50000 copies of dried medicinal plant specimens, which belong to 211 families, 1036 genera. Every family of the specimens is arranged in the light of the revised Engler System. Besides the common medicinal plants, it presents the original plants of some famous and expensive medicinal materials, such as Cordyceps (dong chong xia cao), Radix Ginseng (ren shen), and Radix Notoginseng (san qi), etc; the specimens of rare and valuable plants which are named as “living fossils”, such as Davidia involucrata, Tetracentron sinenseCercidiphyllum japonicum, etc; the type-specimens of new species of Polygonatum, Cimicifuga etc; and 18337 photos of the type specimens.

Based on the requirement of actual work, the center is divided into ten exhibition rooms for different specimens, namely, zoological substances room, botanical substances room, mineral substances room, genuine medicinal materials room, ethnic medicinal substances room, specimens preserved by soaking, scientific research projects specimens room, teaching specimens room and herbarium.

The ordinary work of the center includes collecting, producing, identifying and maintaining the specimens, as well as receiving foreign guests and supplying specimens for teaching task. Furthermore, it also takes the teaching courses, such as Commercial Chinese Materia Medica, Medicinal Zoology, Chinese Materia Medica, Pharmacognosy of Chinese Materia Medica, as well as the task of guiding the researches of the students in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

By means of modern science and technology, the center is aimed to carry out research projects, such as the influence of herbal storage and maintenance on herb quality and its clinical effects; the main factors that lead to herbal deterioration and the relations between them; the changes happening during the storage of medicinal substances. Moreover, new methods and technology for storing and maintaining medicinal substances will supply scientific bases for setting the validity period and clinical safety of the medicinal substances.
